Average price of fuel goes up by more than 2p a litre in August

RAC Fuel Watch report for August shows the price of petrol and diesel increased by more than 2p a litre for second consecutive month. The average price of petrol now stands at 117.51p and diesel at 118.37p. Tropical Storm Harvey responsible for last minute rise in the price of petrol.
